حَدَّثَنِي إِسْحَاقُ حَدَّثَنَا لَيْثٌ وَهَاشِمٌ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا لَيْثٌ حَدَّثَنِي ابْنُ شِهَابٍ عَنْ سَالِمٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ دَخَلَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ الْبَيْتَ وَأُسَامَةُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ وَبِلَالٌ وَعُثْمَانُ بْنُ طَلْحَةَ الْحَجَبِيُّ فَأَغْلَقُوا عَلَيْهِمْ فَلَمَّا فَتَحُوا كُنْتُ أَوَّلَ مَنْ وَلَجَ فَلَقِيتُ بِلَالًا فَسَأَلْتُهُ هَلْ صَلَّى فِيهِ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ نَعَمْ بَيْنَ الْعَمُودَيْنِ الْيَمَانِيَيْنِ قَالَ هَاشِمٌ صَلَّى بَيْنَ الْعَمُودَيْنِ.
English Translation
Ishaq told me, Layth and Hashim told us - Hashim said: Layth told us - Ibn Shihab told me, from Salim, from his father, who said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, entered the House, along with Usama ibn Zayd, Bilal, and Uthman ibn Talha al-Hajabi, and they closed the door on themselves. When they opened it, I was the first to enter, and I met Bilal and asked him whether the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, had prayed inside it. He said, "Yes, between the two Yemeni pillars." Hashim said: "He prayed between the two pillars."
