English Translation
Hashim told us, Abu Khaythama told us, Ata' ibn al-Sa'ib told us, from Kathir ibn Jumhan, who said: I said, "O Abu Abd al-Rahman" - or someone other than me said to him - "why do I see you walking while the people are hurrying?" He said: "If I walk, I have seen the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, walk; and if I hurry, I have seen the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, hurry. And I am now an old man."
