English Translation
Hashim ibn al-Qasim told us, Layth told us, Nafi' told me, from Abdullah, that he said: A man stood up and said, "O Messenger of Allah, what do you command us to wear of garments during ihram?" The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said to him: "Do not wear shirts, nor trousers, nor turbans, nor cloaks, nor leather socks, unless someone has no sandals, in which case let him wear the leather socks cut below the ankles. And do not wear any garment touched by wars or saffron. And the woman in ihram must not veil her face, nor wear gloves."
