حَدَّثَنَا يُونُسُ حَدَّثَنَا فُلَيْحٌ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْحَارِثِ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ عُمَرَ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ إِنَّ النَّذْرَ لَا يُقَدِّمُ شَيْئًا وَلَا يُؤَخِّرُهُ وَإِنَّمَا يُسْتَخْرَجُ بِالنَّذْرِ مِنْ الْبَخِيلِ.
English Translation
Yunus told us, Fulayh told us, from Sa'id b. al-Harith, that he heard Abdullah b. Umar say that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "The vow does not bring anything forward nor delay it; it only extracts something from the miser by means of the vow."
