English Translation
Waki' told us: Sa'id ibn Ziyad told us, from Ziyad ibn Subayh al-Hanafi, who said: I prayed next to Ibn Umar, and I placed my hand on my waist, so he struck my hands. When he finished praying he said: This is the crucifixion-posture in prayer, and the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, used to forbid it.
