حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُبَيْدٍ حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ عَنْ نَافِعٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَرَضَ زَكَاةَ الْفِطْرِ صَاعًا مِنْ تَمْرٍ أَوْ صَاعًا مِنْ شَعِيرٍ عَلَى كُلِّ عَبْدٍ أَوْ حُرٍّ صَغِيرٍ أَوْ كَبِيرٍ.
English Translation
Muhammad ibn 'Ubayd told us: 'Ubaydullah told us, from Nafi', from Ibn 'Umar, that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, made the charity of breaking the fast obligatory: a measure of dates or a measure of barley, upon every slave or free person, young or old.
