حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ بَحْرٍ حَدَّثَنَا عِيسَى بْنُ يُونُسَ عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ عَنْ نَافِعٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِذَا طَافَ الطَّوَافَ الْأَوَّلَ خَبَّ ثَلَاثًا وَمَشَى أَرْبَعًا وَكَانَ يَسْعَى بِبَطْنِ الْمَسِيلِ إِذَا طَافَ بَيْنَ الصَّفَا وَالْمَرْوَةِ.
English Translation
'Ali ibn Bahr told us: 'Isa ibn Yunus told us, from 'Ubaydullah, from Nafi', from Ibn 'Umar, who said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, when he performed the first circumambulation, would trot briskly for three circuits and walk for four, and he used to run in the bottom of the valley when going between al-Safa and al-Marwah.
