English Translation
Abu Ahmad al-Zubayri told us: Isra'il told us, from Fudayl, from Mujahid, from Ibn 'Umar, who said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, delayed the night prayer until the people had slept, those who kept vigil had prayed, and the one who would wake had woken; then he came out and the prayer was performed, and he said: "Were it not that it would be hard on my nation, I would have delayed it to this hour."
