English Translation
Uthman ibn Umar told us, Usamah told us, from Nafi', from Ibn Umar: that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, arrived on the day of Uhud and heard women of Banu Abd al-Ashhal weeping over their dead, so he said, "But Hamzah has no one weeping for him." So the women of the Ansar came and wept over Hamzah in his presence. The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, woke while they were weeping, and said, "Woe to them! Are they still here weeping, even now? Tell them to go back, and let no one weep over a dead person after today."
