حَدَّثَنَا حَجَّاجٌ وَأَسْوَدُ بْنُ عَامِرٍ قَالَا حَدَّثَنَا شَرِيكٌ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُصْمٍ أَبِي عَلْوَانَ الْحَنَفِيِّ سَمِعْتُ ابْنَ عُمَرَ يَقُولُ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِنَّ فِي ثَقِيفٍ كَذَّابًا وَمُبِيرًا.
English Translation
Hajjaj and Aswad ibn Amir told us, they said: Sharik told us, from Abdullah ibn Usm, Abu Alwan al-Hanafi: I heard Ibn Umar say: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, "In Thaqif there is a great liar and a destroyer."
