English Translation
Yahya ibn Sa'id al-Umawi told us, from Yahya - that is Ibn Sa'id -: Nafi' informed me that Ibn Umar told them that a slave-girl was herding sheep belonging to the family of Ka'b ibn Malik al-Ansari, and she feared that one of the sheep would die, so she took a stone and slaughtered it with it. That was mentioned to the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, and he ordered them to eat it.
