حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ مُسْلِمٍ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ دِينَارٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَ سُئِلَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنْ الضَّبِّ فَقَالَ لَسْتُ آكِلَهُ وَلَا مُحَرِّمَهُ.
English Translation
Affan told us, Abd al-Aziz ibn Muslim told us, Abd Allah ibn Dinar told us, from Abd Allah ibn Umar, who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) was asked about the dabb [spiny-tailed lizard], and he said: "I do not eat it, nor do I forbid it."
