حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ دَاوُدَ الْهَاشِمِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ الْجُمَحِيُّ عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ عَنْ نَافِعٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَرَضَ زَكَاةَ الْفِطْرِ مِنْ رَمَضَانَ صَاعًا مِنْ تَمْرٍ أَوْ صَاعًا مِنْ شَعِيرٍ عَلَى كُلِّ حُرٍّ أَوْ عَبْدٍ ذَكَرٍ أَوْ أُنْثَى مِنْ الْمُسْلِمِينَ.
English Translation
Sulayman ibn Dawud al-Hashimi narrated to us: Sa'id ibn Abd al-Rahman al-Jumahi narrated to us, from Ubaydullah ibn Umar, from Nafi', from Ibn Umar, that the Messenger of God, peace and blessings be upon him, made obligatory the zakat of Fitr from Ramadan, a sa' of dates or a sa' of barley, upon every free person or slave, male or female, among the Muslims.
