حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ عَنْ مَالِكٍ عَنْ نَافِعٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ أَنَّ رَجُلًا لَاعَنَ امْرَأَتَهُ وَانْتَفَى مِنْ وَلَدِهَا فَفَرَّقَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بَيْنَهُمَا وَأَلْحَقَ الْوَلَدَ بِأُمِّهِ.
English Translation
Abd al-Rahman narrated to us, from Malik, from Nafi', from Ibn Umar, that a man engaged in li'an (mutual imprecation) with his wife and disowned her child, so the Messenger of God, peace and blessings be upon him, separated them and attached the child to its mother.
