English Translation
Abd al-Rahman narrated to us, from Malik, from Zayd ibn Aslam, from Ibn Umar, who said: Two men came from the East and delivered speeches, and the people marveled at their eloquence. The Messenger of God, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Indeed, some eloquence is sorcery," or "Indeed, part of eloquence is sorcery."
