حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى عَنْ سُفْيَانَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ دِينَارٍ سَمِعْتُ ابْنَ عُمَرَ قَالَ سَأَلَ عُمَرُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ تُصِيبُنِي الْجَنَابَةُ مِنْ اللَّيْلِ فَأَمَرَهُ أَنْ يَغْسِلَ ذَكَرَهُ وَلْيَتَوَضَّأْ.
English Translation
Yahya narrated to us, from Sufyan - 'Abd Allah ibn Dinar narrated to us - I heard Ibn 'Umar say: 'Umar asked the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, saying: 'Sexual impurity befalls me at night.' So he ordered him to wash his private part and perform ablution.
