حَدَّثَنَا رَوْحٌ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ وَابْنُ أَبِي ذِئْبٍ قَالَا أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ شِهَابٍ عَنْ سَالِمِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ رَأَيْتُ النَّاسَ فِي عَهْدِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يُضْرَبُونَ إِذَا تَبَايَعُوا طَعَامًا جُزَافًا أَنْ يَبِيعُوهُ حَتَّى يُؤْوُوهُ إِلَى رِحَالِهِمْ.
English Translation
Rawh told us, Ibn Jurayj and Ibn Abi Dhi'b told us, they said: Ibn Shihab informed us, from Salim ibn Abdullah ibn Umar, from his father, who said: I saw people in the time of the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, being beaten if they bought food in bulk and sold it before bringing it to their dwellings.
