حَدَّثَنَا خَلَفُ بْنُ الْوَلِيدِ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مَعْشَرٍ عَنْ نَافِعٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَ مَرَّ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِطَعَامٍ وَقَدْ حَسَّنَهُ صَاحِبُهُ فَأَدْخَلَ يَدَهُ فِيهِ فَإِذَا طَعَامٌ رَدِيءٌ فَقَالَ بِعْ هَذَا عَلَى حِدَةٍ وَهَذَا عَلَى حِدَةٍ فَمَنْ غَشَّنَا فَلَيْسَ مِنَّا.
English Translation
Khalaf ibn al-Walid told us, Abu Ma'shar told us, from Nafi', from Ibn Umar, who said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, passed by some food which its owner had made look attractive; he put his hand into it and found beneath it inferior food. He said, "Sell this separately and that separately, for whoever deceives us is not one of us."
