English Translation
Yazid narrated to us: Humayd informed us, from Bakr, who said: I mentioned to Ibn Umar that Anas had told us that the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, entered ihram for both umrah and hajj together. He said: Anas is mistaken; the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, entered ihram only for hajj, and we entered ihram with him. When he arrived, he said: Whoever does not have a sacrificial animal with him, let him make it an umrah. The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, had a sacrificial animal with him, so he did not exit ihram.
