حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَهَّابِ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْمَجِيدِ الثَّقَفِيُّ عَنْ أَيُّوبَ عَنْ نَافِعٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَ مَا أَتَيْتُ عَلَى الرُّكْنِ مُنْذُ رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَمْسَحُهُ فِي شِدَّةٍ وَلَا رَخَاءٍ إِلَّا مَسَحْتُهُ.
English Translation
Abd al-Wahhab ibn Abd al-Majid al-Thaqafi narrated to us, from Ayyub, from Nafi', from Ibn Umar, who said: I have never approached the Corner (of the Ka'bah), since I saw the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, touch it, in hardship or in ease, without touching it myself.
