English Translation
Rawh and 'Affan told us, they said: Hammad ibn Salamah told us, from Humayd - 'Affan said in his narration: Humayd informed us - from Bakr ibn 'Abdullah, from Ibn 'Umar, who said: The Messenger of God, peace and blessings be upon him, arrived in Mecca and his companions were reciting the talbiyah - 'Affan said: entering ihram for Hajj - and the Messenger of God, peace and blessings be upon him, said, "Whoever wishes may make it an 'Umrah, except one who has the sacrificial animal with him." They said, "O Messenger of God, should any of us go to Mina while still having had intercourse (after 'Umrah)?" He said, "Yes." And the censers of incense were lit, and 'Ali ibn Abi Talib arrived from Yemen, and the Messenger of God, peace and blessings be upon him, said, "With what did you enter ihram?" He said, "I entered ihram with what the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, entered ihram." Rawh said he then said: "Then you have a sacrificial animal with us." Humayd said: I related this to Tawus, and he said, "This is what the people did." 'Affan said: "Make it an 'Umrah."
