English Translation
Yahya narrated to us, from Sufyan: 'Abdullah ibn Dinar narrated to us: I heard 'Abdullah ibn 'Umar say that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, appointed Usamah as commander over a group, and the people criticized his command, so he said: "If you criticize his command, you have already criticized his father's command before him. By Allah, he was indeed fit for command, and he was one of the people most beloved to me, and this son of his is the most beloved of people to me after him."
