English Translation
Isma'il ibn Ibrahim narrated to us: Ayyub informed us, from Nafi', from Ibn 'Umar, who said: Whenever the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, returned from a military expedition, a pilgrimage, or an 'umrah, and ascended a rise of ground or high place, he would say: "Allah is greatest, Allah is greatest; there is no god but Allah alone, with no partner; His is the dominion and His is the praise, and He is over all things omnipotent. We return, repentant, prostrating, worshipping, praising our Lord. Allah has fulfilled His promise, aided His servant, and defeated the confederates alone."
