حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ حَدَّثَنِي نَافِعٌ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَرْكُزُ الْحَرْبَةَ يُصَلِّي إِلَيْهَا.
English Translation
Yahya narrated to us, from 'Ubaydullah: Nafi' told me, from Ibn 'Umar, who said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, used to plant a spear [in the ground] and pray facing it.
