English Translation
Aswad ibn Amir told us: Abu Bakr told us, from Asim, from Abu Wa'il, from Abdullah, who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) drew a line with his hand and said, "This is the path of Allah, straight." Then he drew lines to its right and its left and said, "These are the other paths; there is no path among them but that a devil is upon it, calling to it." Then he recited: "And that this is My path, straight, so follow it, and do not follow the other paths."
