English Translation
Hashim ibn al-Qasim told us: Asim — meaning ibn Muhammad ibn Zayd ibn Abdullah ibn Umar — told us, from Amir ibn al-Simt, from Mu'awiya ibn Ishaq, from Ata' ibn Yasar, from Ibn Mas'ud, who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "There will be rulers after me who will say what they do not do, and do what they are not commanded to do."
