English Translation
The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: 'On the Day of Resurrection, the miser and the one who spends (generously) are like two men wearing coats of mail: when the one who spends gives charity, the coat of mail extends over his body until it covers his fingertips and wipes out his footprints. And when the miser wants to spend, each ring (of the coat) sticks to its place and does not expand.'
