حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ حَدَّثَنَا زَائِدَةُ عَنْ عَاصِمٍ عَنْ شَقِيقٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ إِنَّ مِنْ شِرَارِ النَّاسِ مَنْ تُدْرِكُهُ السَّاعَةُ وَهُمْ أَحْيَاءٌ وَمَنْ يَتَّخِذُ الْقُبُورَ مَسَاجِدَ.
English Translation
The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: 'Woe to those who persist (in a sin while knowing it). Woe to those who persist.' It was said: 'What is persistence?' He said: 'The man who commits a sin and does not repent from it while knowing.'
