حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الصَّمَدِ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ حَدَّثَنَا عَاصِمٌ عَنْ أَبِي وَائِلٍ عَنِ ابْنِ مَسْعُودٍ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ خَطَبَ النِّسَاءَ فَقَالَ لَهُنَّ مَا مِنْكُنَّ امْرَأَةٌ يَمُوتُ لَهَا ثَلَاثَةٌ إِلَّا أَدْخَلَهَا اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ الْجَنَّةَ فَقَالَتْ أَجَلُّهُنَّ امْرَأَةً يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ وَصَاحِبَةُ الِاثْنَيْنِ فِي الْجَنَّةِ قَالَ وَصَاحِبَةُ الِاثْنَيْنِ فِي الْجَنَّةِ.
English Translation
The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: 'Whoever swears a (false) oath to unjustly take the property of a Muslim, he will meet Allah while He is angry with him.' Then the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) recited: 'Indeed, those who exchange the covenant of Allah and their oaths for a small price will have no share in the Hereafter' (3:77).
