حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الصَّمَدِ حَدَّثَنَا حَفْصٌ يَعْنِي ابْنَ غِيَاثٍ حَدَّثَنَا الْأَعْمَشُ عَنْ شَقِيقٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَمَرَ بِقَتْلِ حَيَّةٍ بِمِنًى.
English Translation
Abdullah ibn Mas'ud said: 'We did not used to write anything except the tashahhud and the Quran.'
