حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ أَبِي بُكَيْرٍ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ عَيَّاشٍ عَنْ عَاصِمٍ عَنْ زِرٍّ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَخْرُجُ قَوْمٌ فِي آخِرِ الزَّمَانِ سُفَهَاءُ الْأَحْلَامِ أَحْدَاثٌ أَوْ قَالَ حُدَثَاءُ الْأَسْنَانِ يَقُولُونَ مِنْ خَيْرِ قَوْلِ النَّاسِ يَقْرَءُونَ الْقُرْآنَ بِأَلْسِنَتِهِمْ لَا يَعْدُو تَرَاقِيَهُمْ يَمْرُقُونَ مِنْ الْإِسْلَامِ كَمَا يَمْرُقُ السَّهْمُ مِنْ الرَّمِيَّةِ فَمَنْ أَدْرَكَهُمْ فَلْيَقْتُلْهُمْ فَإِنَّ فِي قَتْلِهِمْ أَجْرًا عَظِيمًا عِنْدَ اللَّهِ لِمَنْ قَتَلَهُمْ.
English Translation
Yahya ibn Abi Bukayr told us, Abu Bakr ibn Ayyash told us, from Asim, from Zirr, from Abdullah, who said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "There will emerge, at the end of time, a people foolish in judgment - or he said, young in years - who will speak the best words among people; they will recite the Qur'an but it will not go past their throats; they will pass through Islam as an arrow passes through its target. So whoever encounters them, let him kill them, for in killing them there is a great reward with Allah for whoever kills them."
