English Translation
Abd al-Samad told us, Abd al-Aziz ibn Muslim told us, Abu Ishaq al-Hamdani told us, from Abu al-Ahwas, from Ibn Mas'ud, that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "When the last third of the night remains, He descends to the lowest heaven, then opens the gates of heaven, then extends His hand and says: Is there anyone asking, that he may be given his request? And He continues thus until dawn breaks."
