حَدَّثَنَا حَسَنُ بْنُ مُوسَى حَدَّثَنَا زُهَيْرٌ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو إِسْحَاقَ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ مَيْمُونٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مَسْعُودٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ اسْتَقْبَلَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ الْبَيْتَ فَدَعَا عَلَى نَفَرٍ مِنْ قُرَيْشٍ سَبْعَةٍ فِيهِمْ أَبُو جَهْلٍ وَأُمَيَّةُ بْنُ خَلَفٍ وَعُتْبَةُ بْنُ رَبِيعَةَ وَشَيْبَةُ وَعُقْبَةُ بْنُ أَبِي مُعَيْطٍ فَأُقْسِمُ بِاللَّهِ لَقَدْ رَأَيْتُهُمْ صَرْعَى عَلَى بَدْرٍ وَقَدْ غَيَّرَتْهُمْ الشَّمْسُ وَكَانَ يَوْمًا حَارًّا.
English Translation
Hasan ibn Musa told us, Zuhayr told us, Abu Ishaq told us, from 'Amr ibn Maymun, from 'Abdullah ibn Mas'ud, may Allah be pleased with him, who said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, faced the House and invoked curses upon a group of Quraysh, seven of them, among them Abu Jahl, Umayyah ibn Khalaf, 'Utbah ibn Rabi'ah, Shaybah, and 'Uqbah ibn Abi Mu'ayt. I swear by Allah, I saw them lying dead at Badr, and the sun had disfigured them, for it was a hot day.
