حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو سَعِيدٍ حَدَّثَنَا إِسْرَائِيلُ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو إِسْحَاقَ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مَسْعُودٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يُعْجِبُهُ أَنْ يَدْعُوَ ثَلَاثًا وَيَسْتَغْفِرَ ثَلَاثًا.
English Translation
Abu Sa'id told us, Isra'il told us, Abu Ishaq told us, from 'Abd al-Rahman ibn Yazid, from 'Abdullah ibn Mas'ud, may Allah be pleased with him, who said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, liked to supplicate three times and to seek forgiveness three times.
