English Translation
Waki’ told us: Bashir ibn Salman told me, from Sayyar Abu Hamzah, from Tariq ibn Shihab, from Abdullah, who said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, "Whoever is afflicted with a need and brings it before people is likely not to have his need eased, but whoever brings it before Allah, He will grant him either quick provision or a delayed death."
