حَدَّثَنَا عَمَّارُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ ابْنُ أُخْتِ سُفْيَانَ الثَّوْرِيِّ عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ أَبِي الْأَحْوَصِ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِنَّ اللَّهَ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ يَبْعَثُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ مُنَادِيًا يُنَادِي يَا آدَمُ إِنَّ اللَّهَ يَأْمُرُكَ أَنْ تَبْعَثَ بَعْثًا مِنْ ذُرِّيَّتِكَ إِلَى النَّارِ فَيَقُولُ آدَمُ يَا رَبِّ وَمِنْ كَمْ قَالَ فَيُقَالُ لَهُ مِنْ كُلِّ مِائَةٍ تِسْعَةً وَتِسْعِينَ فَقَالَ رَجُلٌ مِنْ الْقَوْمِ مَنْ هَذَا النَّاجِي مِنَّا بَعْدَ هَذَا يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ قَالَ هَلْ تَدْرُونَ مَا أَنْتُمْ فِي النَّاسِ إِلَّا كَالشَّامَةِ فِي صَدْرِ الْبَعِيرِ حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدَةُ عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ مُسْلِمٍ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ الْهَجَرِيِّ فَذَكَرَ مَعْنَاهُ وَقَالَ فَيَقُولُ آدَمُ يَا رَبِّ كَمْ أَبْعَثُ.
English Translation
Ammar ibn Muhammad, nephew of Sufyan al-Thawri, told us, from Ibrahim, from Abu al-Ahwas, from Abdullah, who said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, "Allah, Mighty and Majestic, will send forth on the Day of Resurrection a caller who will call, ‘O Adam, Allah commands you to send forth from your progeny a delegation to the Fire.’ Adam will say, ‘O Lord, and how many?’ It will be said to him, ‘From every hundred, ninety-nine.’" A man among the people said, "Who then is saved among us after this, O Messenger of Allah?" He said, "Do you know what you will be among mankind? Only like the mole on the flank of a camel." Ubaydah told us, from Ibrahim ibn Muslim Abu Ishaq al-Hajari, and he mentioned its meaning, and said: "Adam will say, ‘O Lord, how many shall I send forth?’"
