English Translation
Abu Mu'awiyah told us: al-A'mash told us, from Shaqiq, from Abdullah, who said: "It is as though I can see the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, recounting the story of a prophet who was struck by his people, wiping the blood from his face and saying: 'O Lord, forgive my people, for they do not know.'"
