حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ دَاوُدَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَوَانَةَ عَنْ أَبِي بَلْجٍ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ مَيْمُونٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ أَوَّلُ مَنْ صَلَّى مَعَ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بَعْدَ خَدِيجَةَ عَلِيٌّ وَقَالَ مَرَّةً أَسْلَمَ.
English Translation
Sulayman ibn Dawud told us: Abu Awanah told us, from Abu Balj, from Amr ibn Maymun, from Ibn Abbas, who said: "The first to pray with the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, after Khadijah, was Ali." And he said another time: "[the first to] accept Islam."
