حَدَّثَنَا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ عُمَرَ أَخْبَرَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ أَبِي بِشْرٍ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ نُصِرْتُ بِالصَّبَا وَأُهْلِكَتْ عَادٌ بِالدَّبُورِ.
English Translation
Uthman ibn Umar told us: Shu'bah informed us, from Abu Bishr, from Sa'id ibn Jubayr, from Ibn Abbas, that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "I was given victory by the east wind, and the people of 'Ad were destroyed by the west wind."
