English Translation
Rawh told us: Hammad - meaning Ibn Salamah - told us, from Ayyub, from Sa'id ibn Jubayr, from Ibn Abbas, that Quraysh said: "Muhammad and his companions have been weakened by the fever of Yathrib." So when the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, arrived in the year in which he performed Umrah, he said to his companions: "Walk briskly around the House so that the polytheists may see your strength." So when they walked briskly, Quraysh said: "They have not been weakened."
