حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ دِينَارٍ، قَالَ سَمِعْتُ ابْنَ عُمَرَ، يَقُولُ سَأَلَ عُمَرُ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَالَ تُصِيبُنِي الْجَنَابَةُ مِنْ اللَّيْلِ فَمَا أَصْنَعُ قَالَ اغْسِلْ ذَكَرَكَ ثُمَّ تَوَضَّأْ ثُمَّ ارْقُدْ.
English Translation
It was narrated that `Abdullah bin Deenar said: I heard Hadrat Ibn `Umar say: `Umar (...) asked the Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) : If I become junub at night; what should I do? He said: `Wash your private part then do wudoo’ then go to sleep.”
