حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ حَدَّثَنَا إِسْرَائِيلُ عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ عَنِ الْأَرْقَمِ بْنِ شُرَحْبِيلَ الْأَوْدِيِّ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ حِينَ جَاءَ أَخَذَ مِنْ الْقِرَاءَةِ مِنْ حَيْثُ كَانَ بَلَغَ أَبُو بَكْرٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ.
English Translation
The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: 'Whoever guards the prayer, it will be a light, a proof, and salvation for him on the Day of Resurrection.'
