حَدَّثَنَا خَلَفٌ حَدَّثَنَا إِسْرَائِيلُ عَنْ سِمَاكٍ عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ لَمَّا حُوِّلَتْ الْقِبْلَةُ قِيلَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ أَرَأَيْتَ الَّذِينَ مَاتُوا وَهُمْ يُصَلُّونَ إِلَى بَيْتِ الْمَقْدِسِ فَأَنْزَلَ اللَّهُ { وَمَا كَانَ اللَّهُ لِيُضِيعَ إِيمَانَكُمْ }.
English Translation
The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: 'The most beloved speech to Allah is when a servant says: Glory be to You, O Allah, and with Your praise. Blessed is Your name, exalted is Your majesty, and there is no deity except You.'
