حَدَّثَنَا سُوَيْدُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو حَدَّثَنَا أَبَانُ يَعْنِي الْعَطَّارَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي يَحْيَى بْنُ أَبِي كَثِيرٍ عَنْ مَحْمُودِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو عَنْ أَسْمَاءَ بِنْتِ يَزِيدَ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ مَنْ بَنَى لِلَّهِ مَسْجِدًا فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ يَبْنِي لَهُ بَيْتًا أَوْسَعَ مِنْهُ فِي الْجَنَّةِ.
English Translation
Suwayd ibn Amr narrated to us, Aban, meaning al-Attar, narrated to us. He said: Yahya ibn Abi Kathir narrated to me, from Mahmud ibn Amr, from Asma' bint Yazid, that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Whoever builds a mosque for Allah, Allah will build for him a house more spacious than it in Paradise."
