حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ يُوسُفَ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنْ لَيْثٍ عَنْ شَهْرِ بْنِ حَوْشَبٍ عَنْ أَسْمَاءَ بِنْتِ يَزِيدَ قَالَتْ نَزَلَتْ سُورَةُ الْمَائِدَةِ عَلَى النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ جَمِيعًا إِنْ كَادَتْ مِنْ ثِقَلِهَا لَتَكْسِرُ النَّاقَةَ.
English Translation
Ishaq ibn Yusuf narrated to us, Sufyan informed us, from Layth, from Shahr ibn Hawshab, from Asma' bint Yazid, who said: "Surah al-Ma'idah was revealed upon the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) all at once. It nearly broke the she-camel from its weight."
