Arabic (Original)
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو سَلَمَةَ الْخُزَاعِيُّ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا لَيْثٌ عَنْ أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ عَنْ عَطَاءٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ احْتَجَمَ وَهُوَ صَائِمٌ.
English Translation
The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: 'Do not wish for death, for the terror of the standing (before Allah) is severe. It is from the blessing upon a person that his life be prolonged so that Allah grants him repentance.'
