English Translation
Abu al-Mughirah narrated to us, Abu Bakr ibn Abdullah ibn Abi Maryam al-Ghassani narrated to us, Abu al-Ahwas Hakim ibn Umayr and Habib ibn Ubayd narrated to us, from Abu al-Darda', that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Let none of you fail to earn a thousand good deeds when he wakes in the morning by saying 'SubhanAllah wa bi hamdihi (Glory be to Allah and praise be to Him)' one hundred times, for that is a thousand good deeds. He will not commit, if Allah wills, as many sins in his day, and whatever good he does beyond that will be extra."
