Abd al-Samad told us, he said Daylam Abu Ghalib al-Qattan told me, he said al-Hakam ibn Jahl told me, he said Umm al-Kiram told me that she performed Hajj. She said: I met a woman in Mecca with many attendants, none of whom wore jewelry except silver. So I said to her, "Why do I not see any of your attendants wearing jewelry except silver?" She said, "My grandfather was with the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, and I was with him wearing two gold earrings, and the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, 'Two firebrands of Fire.' So we, the people of the household, none of us wears jewelry except silver."
