حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ أَبِي بَكْرِ بْنِ أَبِي الْجَهْمِ قَالَ دَخَلْتُ أَنَا وَأَبُو سَلَمَةَ عَلَى فَاطِمَةَ بِنْتِ قَيْسٍ قَالَ فَقَالَتْ طَلَّقَنِي زَوْجِي فَلَمْ يَجْعَلْ لِي سُكْنَى وَلَا نَفَقَةً قَالَتْ وَوَضَعَ لِي عَشْرَةَ أَقْفِزَةٍ عِنْدَ ابْنِ عَمٍّ لَهُ خَمْسَةً شَعِيرٍ وَخَمْسَةً تَمْرٍ قَالَتْ فَأَتَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقُلْتُ ذَاكَ لَهُ قَالَ فَقَالَ صَدَقَ فَأَمَرَنِي أَنْ أَعْتَدَّ فِي بَيْتِ فُلَانٍ قَالَ وَكَانَ طَلَّقَهَا طَلَاقًا بَائِنًا.
English Translation
Muhammad ibn Ja'far told us, he said Shu'bah told us, from Abu Bakr ibn Abi al-Jahm, who said: I and Abu Salamah entered upon Fatimah bint Qays. He said: She said, "My husband divorced me and did not grant me lodging or maintenance." She said: "He allotted me ten measures with a cousin of his: five of barley and five of dates." She said: "So I came to the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, and told him that, and he said, 'He is right,' and he ordered me to observe my waiting period in the house of so-and-so." He said: And he had divorced her irrevocably.
