English Translation
Sufyan told us, from Ibrahim ibn Maysarah, from Ibn Abi Suwayd, from Umar ibn Abd al-Aziz, who said: the righteous woman Khawlah bint Hakim claimed that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, came out carrying one of the two sons of his daughter, saying: "By Allah, you make your children cowardly and miserly, yet you are among the sweet basil of Allah, Mighty and Majestic; and the last footstep Allah trod was at Wajj." Sufyan said once: "You make them miserly and you make them cowardly."
